Orchestra Special Edition Introduction - 11.10.99 - 11.11.99 - 11.12.99 - 11.13.99 - 11.14.99 - Conclusion "The bus came by and I got on...that's when it all began." And so the story goes for many of us. I doubt there will ever be a place as magical as a Grateful Dead concert. So many kind souls, interesting characters and energy exchanges make it hard to duplicate. What's important for us all is to find places to rekindle those magic moments and revitalize pieces of that energy. DSO gives us that opportunity; to put us in a place where magic might happen. The rest is up to us individually. Musically, DSO was incredible. Whether playing a 73' show with Donna (Lisa) or a 93' show featuring Vince (Scott) they hit every note. They cover the Dead better than anyone I've seen. It's true; go to a show, close your eyes and hear for yourself. Garcia once said something like, "We're not conductors on this train; we're passengers just like you. Your energy flows through us as much as ours flows through you." Jump on board and take a ride, the energy you help create might save your own. |
